The 3-way junction box is a secure and safe way to build or extend RS 485 data bus for ADEC TDC traffic detectors. The device is equipped with one C16-style device connector and two female device receptacles. All PINs are internally connected. The JBL3 is built into a weather tight enclosure with a built-in pole-mount adapter for easy and convenient mounting on pole using one or two strap-bands.

Applications
The JBL 3-way junction box is specifically designed for safely and securely expanding installations with ADEC TDC traffic detectors, including
- TDC1-PIR-C connecting multiple TDC1-PIR traffic detectors to single outstation in RS 485 bus-topology configuration
- BS2-T, BS2-TS, BS2-TB expansion expanding BS2-T installations to use four or more TDC1-PIR-C traffic detector (caution: Adding TDC1-PIR traffic detectors may require upgrading to 30W panel, depending on data transmission interval and mounting location!)
